You might wonder why I'm sitting in a freezing sailboat writing a blog. I blame it on an article called 101 Reasons Freelancers Do It Better, in HR World sent to me from a work colleague, Janet.
I was captivated by the freedom and flexibility of work conditions and time. I guess, working on the 15th floor of a Bank Tower in Tornoto has turned me off from the sound of buzzing lights and hissing air conditioning.
Why blog in a boat? It's the power of attraction...."send it out to the universe and it will come to you". So, I'm sitting in the boat with the dream of being here on a lake in my Speedo....well, I'm over 40, so it will be a pair of baggie shorts.
I question the "power of attraction" since I think I have "The Power of Repulssion". The more I dream abou this, the more I doubt it. Will I really like to live a dream, or will the dream be spoiled by living it? Anyone, out there in the "universe", living a dream? What's it like?
